When conflict gets in the way, the way forward matters
Disputes can become consuming taking up time, energy and focus, while
making it harder to see a way through.
Mediation creates the space for a different conversation. One that gets to what really matters,
works through the issues and focuses on finding a practical way forward.
Workplace & Commercial Mediation across Victoria and online Australia-wide
Conflict has a way of taking on a life of its own. Conversations become harder, positions become more entrenched and the issue can start consuming far more time, energy and attention than it should.
Mediation creates an opportunity to change that.
As an AMDRAS accredited mediator with extensive experience in workplace and people matters, I provide independent mediation for workplace and commercial disputes. My approach is calm, practical and impartial — creating the conditions for people to have the conversations that have become difficult and work towards a resolution they can live with.
I provide mediation across Victoria, including Melbourne and the Goulburn Valley, as well as online mediation Australia-wide.
A practical way through conflict
Workplace Mediation
Workplace conflict rarely stays between two people. Left unresolved, it can affect teams, managers, productivity and the broader working environment.
I mediate disputes involving colleagues, employees and managers, communication breakdowns, deteriorating working relationships and other interpersonal workplace conflict.
The aim isn't to decide who is right or wrong. It's to help people understand the issues, have a productive conversation and, where possible, agree on a workable way forward.
Commercial Mediation
Commercial disputes can quickly consume time, money and attention — and formal proceedings aren't always the best first step.
I provide independent mediation for business and commercial disputes, creating a confidential and structured environment in which the parties can explore the issues, identify what matters and work towards practical resolution.
This can include disputes involving business relationships, contractual matters and other commercial disagreements.
Independent. Confidential. Practical.
As mediator, I don't take sides or determine the outcome.
My role is to manage the process independently and fairly,
help each party be heard and facilitate a constructive conversation about the issues and possible ways forward.
Mediation can provide an opportunity to resolve a dispute before it becomes more costly, disruptive or entrenched.
How I Mediate
Every dispute is different, and so are the people involved. My approach is calm, practical and impartial creating the space for honest conversation while keeping the process constructive and focused on moving forward.
BEFORE
I meet with each party separately to understand the issues, explain the process and ensure everyone is prepared for the conversation ahead.
DURING
I guide a structured and impartial conversation where each person has the opportunity to be heard. I help clarify the issues, ask the questions that matter and keep the discussion constructive and purposeful.
MOVING FORWARD
Where agreement is reached, we clarify what has been agreed and what happens next. Where it isn't, mediation can still provide greater understanding and clarity about the way forward.
Calm. Impartial. Practical.
Focused on finding a way forward.
Mediation can be particularly valuable when a dispute is affecting relationships, business or the ability to move forward.
It may be appropriate where:
communication has broken down
a workplace relationship has become difficult or unproductive
conflict between employees, managers or teams is escalating
a commercial or contractual dispute has reached an impasse
business partners or other parties need help working through a disagreement
the parties want an opportunity to resolve matters without immediately moving to a more formal process
an ongoing relationship matters, even though there is disagreement
Not sure whether mediation is the right next step? We can start with a confidential conversation about the situation and whether mediation may be appropriate.
When Mediation May Help
Flexible options depending on the situation and the support needed.
